Severne Overdrive freeride sail

OverDrive is made to get as much performance as possible but at the same time has a user-friendly interface for a little more recreational sailing. A narrower mast pocket with a neoprene stop that prevents a lot of water from entering, making the sail easier to water-start and of course also easier to haul up. Snap-On cambers are easy to install and make the sail easy to rig to be a camber sail. The sail is designed to perform on a mast with less than 100% carbon. The use of fragile components such as carbon battens has also been avoided to improve durability. This also makes the sail cheaper to own in the long run. Features

• Compact sail which means the battens are closer together for better stability and control. It also means that the power is moved down closer to the sailor for better control.
• Larger clew drop. This allows you to run a shorter boom and thus makes it stiffer (aluminum)
• The camber on the bottom batten has been removed to improve rotation but also to make the sail even easier to rig.
• Camber above the boom gives the sail a deeper profile that generates more drive in the wind holes and makes the sail more stable higher up.
• Neoprene cover improves aerodynamics and helps limit water ingress into the mast pocket, making the sail easier to both water-launch and haul up.
• Stabilizer Panel Technology. Designed to hollow out the 3D shape and reduce the vertical tension that occurs at the front. It also helps to maintain the shape of the sail when under pressure
• Integrated loop outhaul for easier rigging, with or without adjustable outhaul system. The sail is an older model hence the low price. Limited number in stock.
